An Editorial Maternity Session in our favorite Studio

Shooting in the studio is one of our favorite things! The creativity, the lighting, and AIR CONDITIONING! Come along with us for Helene’s stunning Editorial Maternity Session in the heart of Downtown Tampa!

Clean. Editorial. Artistic. Real.

A little bit of everything was involved in this session! At the heart of it all? Helene’s amazing style, quiet confidence, and the perfect hair and makeup for a studio shoot! All of these visuals came together to perfectly showcase these last few weeks in her pregnancy with her baby girl!

Why you should let us plan a dreamy Editorial Studio Session…

Many of our Maternity Clients have already had their Engagement Photos with us, their Weddings with us, and now they have come back with no expectations, no shot lists, no pressure, and are excited to try something new to celebrate this time in their lives! Here’s why you should consider a studio session!

  1. You deserve to be treated like a Model: The setting, the lighting, the mood board…you deserve to feel like based on your input someone else is steering the session in a beautiful direction for you!

  2. A Celebration of Womanhood: Having gone through the incredible act of pregnancy and birth myself, I know for certain that there is no time like this in your life! You are literally building who will come to be one of your most cherished treasures in your world! After birth, your focus is on your child, and likely not on yourself for a good while. So let’s put a little extra effort into this time before priorities shift!

  3. Rain or Shine: Sessions in the studio not only allow for amazing lighting and creativity, but they also take the weather out of the equation! No matter when you plan your session, there will always be the perfect setting, light, and weather for it in the studio!

How to Prepare for Your Maternity Session

To make the most of your maternity session, keep these tips in mind:

  1. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps keep your skin looking radiant and reduces swelling.

  2. Choose Your Wardrobe Thoughtfully: Order several options for outfits, as your size can change quickly during pregnancy. Neutral tones, flowing fabrics, and textures like denim, linen, silk, etc. photograph beautifully.

  3. Time It Right: Aim to schedule your session between 26 and 32 weeks, when your belly is beautifully rounded but you’re still comfortable.

  4. Plan for costs: Our studio sessions so require some additional costs due to studio fees! Our Sessions in-studio start at $1000, and can go up to $1500-2000 depending on what you would like to accomplish, if you’d like hair and makeup completed onsite, etc.!

  5. Chat with us!: Once you’ve decided that a studio session is for you, get in touch with us! We will jump on a call and chat through ideas with you, then provide a custom proposal that encompasses all you’d like achieve in your session with us!
